Happy Halloween
Dates to remember:
This month in reading the children will be learning to make connections to the stories that they are reading. The more that a child can connect to a text the better they understand and interact with the text. The children will be learning how to make good connections to their own experiences and also to other books that we have read. Be sure to model this strategy when you are reading to your child.
The weather is getting much colder. Please be sure to send your child to school with warm mitts, hats, and extra socks for wet days. The children are outside 3 times a day and the lunch recess is 40 minutes long.
